It was about time I got some form of backup solution, so I plumped up a Western Digital MyBook 250 gigs. Nothing special I guess, but then again how exciting can an external hard drive get?

I’ve been after the new Logitech RX Revolution for a little while now and thought I might as well kill two birds with one stone and get it at the same time to save on postage. What a mouse (So it should be with a £70 price tag). The main scroll wheel is a normal ratchet type wheel until you spin it a certain speed then it goes into a freespin mode and will just keep spinning which is really great for long web pages or documents. On the side it has a simple back and forth wheel which makes it really easy to flip between running programmes. I was a bit dubious about getting a cordless mouse but I’m really impressed with the responsiveness. Every so often it takes a moment to wake up, but it’s only been maybe once a day that it fails to react instantly. The battery life is also very impressive. I haven’t charged it since last Friday which is pretty good going. I’m really happy with it so far. Hopefully it will serve me as many years as my old Logitech mouse. God rest it’s soul…

After waiting and waiting and even more waiting, my Xacti C6 finally arrived (Thank you UPS for working in-between Xmas and New Years!).

I still can’t believe how tiny the body is. It’s an odd shape compared to most digital cameras, but it means you can record pretty discretely which is nice. I shot a whole “Shopping at Tesco” video with Emma but tbh its just utterly boring as hell, so I wont be making that my first video post. We are off to Scotland for the weekend, so that might be the perfect opportunity to get some good shots with it.
