After just under two years and a half my Iriver gave up on me. The HD wont let me copy songs to and from it and anything I play has horrible digital glitches in it. So it was time for something new and something small. After looking at the Sandisk Sansa E200, Creative Zen Vision:M and Cowon iAudio 6, I settled with the Cowon. Even though the Sandisk and Creative offered more space for the same price (30gigs on the Creative and 6gigs on the Sandisk), the iAudio used a standard mini-USB connector which was a massive plus for me. I just didn’t want to have the burden of having *yet* another lead to deal with or having to carry around an adaptor which I would eventually lose. It also has a lot of features over the others, including video playback (yeah the Creative has this too), FM radio, Line-in recording, built in microphone and also a USB host so it can copy images off a digital camera.
After a few days I’m really happy with it. The quality is great and the OLED screen is a real pleasure to use. Overall a 9/10, it just misses that full 10 by not having a bit more storage.
